The United Coalition for Advanced Nuclear Power (UCAN Power) congratulates the Honorable Theodore J. “Ted” Garrish for his confirmation by the United States Senate as Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy, U.S. Department of Energy, a capstone on a very distinguished career including many senior roles—including prior Senate confirmed roles–at the Department of Energy, the Department of Interior, and for industry.
Mr. Garrish brings decades of experience in energy policy, legal affairs, industry, and international cooperation to his new role. Having served in a variety of senior prior public and private sector positions, Garrish has earned recognition as a dedicated leader in advancing the nation’s energy priorities.
UCAN Power was honored to have Garrish serve as our founding President for more than two years, where his experience, expertise and guiding hand helped is launch UCAN Power and to build it into the organization it is today.
