Mike Duffey

Mike Duffey brings 16 years of experience at the crossroads of national security, technology, and federal budgets, serving under 2 Presidents in the White House and 7 Secretaries of Defense over 14 years in the Pentagon. Throughout his career, Mike has been a champion for asserting United States military dominance through aggressive funding, development, and procurement of cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence, advanced microelectronics, and quantum technologies, a large US Navy fleet, modernized nuclear weapons, the world’s most advanced space satellites, and robust missile defense systems.

Mike has previously served in several senior positions within the Pentagon, including the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense, the Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering, the White House Liaison, and the Deputy Director for Systems Analysis within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mike brings his commitment to applying emerging nuclear power technology to increase the strength and resilience of US forces to the UCAN Power team.
